GOVT HAS NO RESPECT FOR CHURCH, UKA FUMES

 The United Kwacha Alliance (UKA) has accused the government of having no regard for the church.

Reacting to Friday’s Kabwe incident where former President Edgar Lungu and his entourage, Alliance Chairperson, Sakwiba Sikota alleges the manner police officers stormed the room shows how the state has lost its moral campus on the clergy.

Mr. Sikota, wonders why if the police were concerned with Mr. Lungu’s security they could not wait outside, but opted to barge into a private meeting.

However, at a press briefing held on Saturday, Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister, Jack Mwimbu has apologized to the Catholic Diocese of Kabwe.
