WESTERN PROVINCE – The UPND Presidential Campaign Team in Western Province has called on Zambians to re-elect President Hakainde Hichilema, arguing that his leadership has laid a strong foundation for continued economic growth and national development.
In a statement, Western Province UPND Presidential Campaign Team Media Coordinator Spuki Mulemwa said development requires visionary leadership and commitment to improving the welfare of citizens.
Mulemwa criticised opposition parties, accusing them of opposing government initiatives regardless of their potential benefits to the country.
He said President Hichilema has spent the past five years working to improve Zambia's economic performance, adding that the progress has earned the country international recognition.
According to Mulemwa, changing leadership at this stage could reverse the gains made under the current administration.
He urged voters to support President Hichilema and his running mate, Vice President Mutale Nalumango, in the August 13, 2026 General Election, saying their re-election would ensure continued national development and economic transformation.
