LUSAKA - President Hakainde Hichilema has arrived at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) to commission the rehabilitated and re-equipped Cancer Diseases Hospital.
The commissioning marks the completion of rehabilitation works and the installation of upgraded equipment aimed at enhancing cancer diagnosis and treatment services at Zambia's premier referral health facility.
The event forms part of Government's efforts to strengthen the country's healthcare system by improving access to specialised cancer treatment services.
