LUSAKA - President Hakainde Hichilema has traversed all 10 provinces and 116 districts of Zambia, addressing 127 public rallies so far as he seeks re-election for a second five-year term on August 13.
President Hichilema launched his campaign on June 28 with a rally outside the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka. Since then, he has taken his campaign message across the country, holding rallies in every province.
According to the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ), 8,786,300 people are registered to vote in the August 13 general election.
The rallies addressed by President Hichilema so far include:
June 28: Campaign launch outside National Heroes Stadium, Lusaka.
July 1: Mwinilunga and Solwezi, North-Western Province.
July 2: Chavuma, Zambezi, Kabompo and Kalumbila, North-Western Province.
July 3: Nkeyema, Luampa, Kaoma and Lukulu, Western Province.
July 4: Mitete, Sikongo, Kalabo and Mongu, Western Province.
July 5: Chitambo, Serenje and Mkushi, Central Province.

As of August 10, President Hichilema's campaign has therefore covered all 10 provinces and all 116 districts, with 127 rallies addressed since the campaign launch.
The President is seeking another five-year mandate at the August 13 election.
