Kabimba Urges President Hichilema to Appoint Action-Oriented Cabinet to Help Fulfil Campaign Promises

LUSAKA - Economic Front President Wynter Kabimba has called on President Hakainde Hichilema to assemble a more action-oriented Cabinet as he begins his second term, saying this would help deliver on campaign promises.

Speaking to Phoenix News ahead of President Hichilema's official announcement of his Cabinet, Mr. Kabimba said he expects the President to appoint a team of ministers who would perform better than those in his previous administration.

He said the President needs a stronger team to help him fulfil the commitments he made to Zambians during his campaign.

Mr. Kabimba urged President Hichilema to ensure that his next Cabinet is made up of competent and capable individuals who can translate Government policy and campaign commitments into tangible results.

He further advised the UPND to use the experience gained during its first term to address shortcomings experienced over the past five years without making excuses as it begins a second term in office.
