Thousands Flock to Heroes Stadium as UPND Kicks Off Campaign
Thousands of UPND supporters have gathered at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka as the ruling party officially launches its national campaign ahead of the August 13 General Elections.
The event, described by supporters as the “father of all rallies,” marks the beginning of the UPND’s nationwide campaign as it seeks a fresh mandate from the Zambian people.
President Hakainde Hichilema is expected to headline the rally and unveil the party’s campaign message, outlining its priorities and vision for the next five years.
The launch has attracted party officials, members of the UPND Alliance and supporters from across the country, with Heroes Stadium expected to host one of the largest political gatherings of the campaign season.
The event officially kicks off what is expected to be an intense election campaign, with political parties set to criss-cross the country in the run-up to polling day.
