LUSAKA - The first batch of ballot papers for the 2026 General Elections has arrived in Zambia through Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (KKIA).
The arrival marks a key milestone in the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) preparations for the August 13, 2026 General Elections, as the country continues final logistical arrangements ahead of polling day.
The ballot papers were airlifted into the country from the printing facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under security measures involving electoral stakeholders and relevant authorities.
The ECZ has previously stated that all ballot papers will be securely transported, verified upon arrival, and distributed to various parts of the country ahead of the elections.
