 POLICE CONFIRM DETENTION OF ZNBC JOURNALIST MUKUKA

Police have confirmed that ZNBC Journalist McPherson Mukuka is currently in police custody without giving any further detail.

While it has been speculated that his detention is linked to an online post, Police Public Relations Officer Godfrey Chilabi could not confirm if it was over such an issue.

Mr. Chilabi has however promised to issue a statement as soon as the full details of his apprehension are made available.
