LUSAKA - The Fresh Minds Movement and Entrepreneurship (FMME) has welcomed the handover of 100 fuel tankers by Kinglong Motors Zambia Limited to the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts.
FMME Executive Director Kabanda Kaoma said the development marked an important step towards empowering 100 beneficiary youth cooperatives under the Government's Fuel Tanker Empowerment Programme.
“This initiative has the potential to create business and employment opportunities for young people while increasing their participation in the petroleum transportation sector,” Mr. Kaoma said.
He called for responsible management of the tankers and continued support for the beneficiary cooperatives to ensure the initiative delivers sustainable economic benefits to young people.
