Hichilema Promises More Development Projects for Copperbelt

MUFULIRA - President Hakainde Hichilema says his government remains committed to delivering more development projects on the Copperbelt, stating that while significant progress has been made, more work still lies ahead.

Addressing residents in Mufulira, President Hichilema said his administration will continue creating jobs, expanding business opportunities and improving access to essential public services.

He said government plans include the construction of more health facilities and schools, increased support for agriculture, the continuation of the free education policy and the opening of more mines to stimulate economic growth and employment.

The President also said his government remains focused on improving access to safe and clean drinking water, describing it as one of the key priorities for communities across the province.

President Hichilema thanked the people of Mufulira for their continued support and urged them not to be misled ahead of the August 13 General Election.

He appealed to voters to support the UPND, saying the development journey that began in 2021 should continue for the benefit of all Zambians.
