Mundubile Says People-Driven Campaign Raises K860,000 in 24 Hours

LUSAKA - National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) presidential candidate Brian Mundubile says his people-driven campaign has raised more than K860,000 in cash and attracted K2.8 million in pledges within 24 hours of appealing to Zambians to voluntarily fund his campaign for State House.

Mr. Mundubile said the response demonstrates growing public support for what he described as a citizen-funded political movement.

He stated that the campaign had received contributions from ordinary Zambians, including workers, business people, farmers and youths, who want to participate directly in the country's political future.

According to Mr. Mundubile, the funds raised will be used to support campaign activities across the country as the NRPUP seeks to expand its outreach ahead of the August 13, 2026 General Election.

He said the campaign would continue encouraging voluntary contributions and transparency in the management of donated resources.

Mr. Mundubile described the response as encouraging and said it reflects confidence among supporters who want to see what he called a people-centred approach to governance.
