LUSAKA - Nalolo Member of Parliament Imanga Wamunyima says he is honoured to have begun his parliamentary journey alongside experienced legislators Robert Lihefu and Makozo Chikote.
Mr. Wamunyima said he arrived at the National Assembly for registration in the company of the two seasoned Members of Parliament, who have both been re-elected for a third consecutive term.
He noted that the two legislators had also served as Cabinet Ministers in the previous Government.
“It is an honour to serve with the two experienced legislators as I take my place among the Members of the new Parliament,” Mr. Wamunyima said.
Returning for his second consecutive term, the Nalolo lawmaker described the experience as a significant moment as he joined the new Parliament.
“Indeed, I have been inducted into the league of the seniors!” he said.
