LUSAKA - Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated President Hakainde Hichilema on his re-election as Zambia's President.
President Putin expressed confidence that President Hichilema's leadership would further strengthen the traditionally friendly relations between Zambia and Russia.
President Hichilema was yesterday inaugurated for his second term at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka following his re-election.
The ceremony was attended by Zambian Government officials, diplomats and foreign dignitaries.
