UPND Celebrates Victory, Eyes Early Mobilisation for 2031

LUSAKA - UPND Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says he is optimistic that President Hakainde Hichilema will accelerate economic development during his second term in office.

Mr Mweetwa, who is also Choma Central Member of Parliament, said the projected economic growth was anchored on the Government's "Grow Zambia Agenda".

He was speaking in Lusaka last night during celebrations following the UPND's victory in the 2026 General Election.

The event was organised by some UPND members known as "HH Boots on the Ground", who participated in door-to-door campaigns during the 2026 General Election.

Meanwhile, UPND member Cindy Kauka called on party members to begin early mobilisation ahead of the 2031 General Election.

And UPND sympathiser Proud Sichalwe praised President Hichilema for implementing various development projects during the past five years.
