BRIAN MUSHIMBA HAS WELCOMED THE ECZ'S DECISION TO PROCEED WITH THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AS SCHEDULED

Organised People's Party (OPP) presidential candidate Brian Mushimba has welcomed the Electoral Commission of Zambia's decision to proceed with the presidential election as scheduled despite the withdrawal of the party's running mate, Andyford Banda.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia recently announced that the presidential election will continue as planned, notwithstanding Mr. Banda's withdrawal from the race.

Speaking to Hot FM News, Dr. Mushimba has expressed happiness with the Commission's decision, saying it has allowed the party's campaign programme to continue without disruption.

He said the OPP will continue conducting campaign activities across the country as it seeks support ahead of the general elections.
