LUSAKA - Various parishes across the Archdiocese of Lusaka have held candlelight prayers, calling upon God to grant peace, unity and harmony to the nation ahead of the General Election.
The prayer gatherings brought together congregants seeking divine intervention and peaceful elections as Zambia prepares to go to the polls.
The faithful prayed for peace, unity and tolerance among Zambians, urging citizens to embrace one another regardless of political differences.
The candlelight prayers come as religious and community leaders continue to encourage Zambians to protect the country's peace and participate peacefully in the electoral process.
